Biking with a Lobster Trap and Folding Bike attached

Who needs a gas guzzling Suburban or a full size pick up truck when you can just strap everything you need onto your bicycle?  Well, not everyone could make do on their bicycle but the folks at the Bicycle Coalition know how to do it all on two wheels.  They recently wanted to enter a photo contest to win a Yuba Cargo Bike and gave me a call to see if I could volunteer some of my time to capture a possible winning moment.  The coalition does lots of great work advocating for cyclists and pedestrians in Maine and I was more then happy to help them out on a beautiful Maine summer day along the Eastern shore in Portland.  This shot of Jim Tasse, the Coalitions education director, is one of my favorites and captures the spirit of the hour we spent working on photos.  Jim is always a great go to individual when it comes to photos.  He loves the camera and we love him right back.
