Ski season in the East

We have yet to see that large early season snow storm that all skiers anxiously wait and pray for this time of the year.  With below average temps for November and now a December that can't decide whether it wants to be mild or cold we are all left waiting for something snowy to happen!  This photo was taken at Mad River Glen in Waitsfield, VT a classic East Coast skiing destination.  Lets hope for a great white winter!

University of New England College of Pharmacy

I love working with the University of New England and have been fortunate to provide photography services to many of the colleges within the UNE umbrella.  My assignments for the college are varied by the week and  assignment but almost always involve people; students, faculty, administrator's and guest lecturers.  These are some of the subject's that I have photographed recently. Last week I was brought in to photograph a simple portrait of a faculty member in the College of Pharmacy.  I finished up early and was asked to grab some quick shots of some students around the building and in one of the upstairs labs.  The professional nature of everyone at the school always helps to generate great images.

Casco Bay - Bikeman Cyclocross Race 2012

This past Saturday was a busy one packed with assignments but I managed to squeeze in a few hours on the Eastern Prom in Portland to photograph a great cyclocross race.  The Casco Bay - Bikeman Cyclocross Race is in it's third year and once again the weather was beautiful, the sites are stunning and the race was well attended.  It is great to see friends racing on the course while I document the race and enjoy the beautiful venue that is the Eastern Prom.  What a gorgeous place to hold a Cyclocross bike race.  My photographs from the bike race are here.  The racer below is Ryan Littlefield moving quickly over the barriers.
